once one pass, holds

Cutout on the pages navy ground: a project's admin panel writing a post for the Journal blog (Kererū), the rich text editor front and centre, cropped through the sidebar on the left and running off the bottom. The title is typed into Title, then the cursor arrives on Publish post, the button takes its hover shade, a press, and the Post published toast drops in under the buttons. The publish sidebar — date, blog, cover image, slug, author — shows at hero only; the Excerpt is dropped at card so the editor stays in frame.

Designing a booking flow for Toroa Clinics
Paragraph

Toroa Clinics came to us with a booking form five steps long. Most people never reached the end of it.

“Nobody books an appointment for fun. Get out of their way.”

So we started again from the one question the clinic actually needs answered first: who are you, and when can you come in? Everything else — the referral, the insurer, the reason for the visit — moved to a single screen after the slot is held.

The rebuilt flow is two steps. Bookings are up by a third, and the front desk spends its mornings on people rather than on the phone.
